There are few people who I would consider a "legend" in any capacity. As many of you know I have been an avid scuba diver for some time, and am now a technical rebreather diver. Way back when I was still schlepping around my tropical dive gear in garish bright colors, a man by the name of John Rawlings was doing deep, technical dives in our emerald green waters of the Pacific Northwest. I later came to meet the man behind the legend and team member of a group that solved a 72 year old mystery in Lake Crescent, WA - and we became friends.
When Newsvine launched I invited John to join and to start posting his writings here. Well, it only took him just over two years to take me up on the offer. Better late than never, I suppose. Check out his articles and his photography, they're simply fascinating and many folks have become divers because of his work.
I'm happy to introduce Mr. Rawlings, underwater photographer, technical diver, professional writer and marine life specialist, to the Newsvine community.
