I'm trying to help Lance test out the photo uploader, so I thought I'd share this photo I took of a beautiful whale shark about a month ago, in the central Philippines off the coast of the island of Cebu. This type of shot is called an "over-under" and requires holding the (quite heavy) camera just out of the water enough so that you can capture some light from both in the water and out of it. Water droplets on the dome port make this a challenging thing to do, so you have to take lots and lots of shots to end up with an okay one. Luckily my model was patient with me. Hope you enjoy it.
