Some of you have seen my other seed, about the killing of a Giant Pacific Octopus, at my favorite local dive site (the most popular dive site in Washington State).
Still, many people cannot even imagine what a "GPO" looks like, much less how it moves and behaves. So, here's a short video displaying just that, shot by my colleague Laurynn Evans.
I hope that you all enjoy having a glimpse at this mysterious and beautiful animal, one that I am fortunate enough to interact with on a fairly regular basis.
PS - All of the footage shown in this video was filmed directly from the dive site where the GPO was taken from last week. This is the dive site we are trying to protect from such occurrences in the future.
